Gecko an Egg Harbor Yachts designed Pace 40 convertible is fully equipped with everything needed for gamefishing and cruising. She is tournament ready being fitted out with the latest marine electronics from Simrad, and has all custom made fishing rods matched to the latest Shimano fishing reels. The boat has a top speed of 28 knots enabling you to get to the fishing areas faster and stay there longer. All the cabins are air-conditioned for your comfort and the large seating area on the bridge gives you ample sunshade. Whether you want a day charter out of Phuket or a multi-day live-aboard to Similan, Surin or Andaman islands- Gecko is Phuket's best deal. Equipment on-board includes:

Crew
Two Captains plus one deckhand, crew speaks English. The crew has long time experience of fishing the Andaman sea (together over 30 years of gamefishing charter work out of Phuket).

Accommodation
Guest berths: 4 in 2 air-conditioned cabins, with independent temp. control. Electric flushing Toilet with separate shower stall, hot and cold water. Separate crew bunks.

Salon
Large and comfortable with lounging and dinning area.  Air-conditioned  with independent temp. control. 12 V and 220 V outlets. Galley with 3 ring stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, stainless sink

Charter Rates for Gecko:
Phuket: Daytrips 28,000 Thai Baht + 7% VAT tax, max 6 anglers. We also have openings some days for join-in anglers for 5000 +7% VAT tax THB per angler in the high season, if you prefer to share the charter cost with other anglers.

Liveaboard trips to Similan area 33,000 Thai Baht + 7% VAT tax per day max 4 anglers. All fishing is done outside the national park border.

Surin Island area: extended Daytrip with departure from Thab Lamu (0700 -2000 hours) 33,000 Thai Baht + 7% VAT tax, max 4 anglers. Liveaboard trips 33,000 Thai Baht + 7% VAT tax per day max 4 anglers on liveaboard trips. All fishing is done outside the national park border.

Andaman Islands: Liveaboard trips 50,000 THB per day max 4 anglers.  Departure is from Port Blair. Min 4 days charter. Departure from Phuket and return by air is also possible (big marlin are often hooked during the crossing from Phuket to Port Blair).  100 US$ per person extra is charged for a local tax per trip.

The rates includes: Lunch (all meals on liveaboard trips), fruits, soft drinks, coffee & Tea, drinking water. Alcohol, beer and wine can be ordered to self cost price, please advise your preferences on booking. Bait and all fishing gear included in the rate. Gecko and it's passengers  are  insured by QBE.
